Ludovic awaits a miracle. With a certainty of six years, she believes that she was destined to be a little girl and the error will soon be corrected. But where he awaits the miraculous, Ludo finds only rejection, isolation and guilt, while the intense reactions of family, friends and neighbors remove all innocent sides and trinkets. As the prejudices in the surrounding suburbs close, the loves and loyalty of the family are put to the test in the increasingly intense dramatic turns of Alain Berliners, who receives the acclaimed first feature film. Winner of the Golden Globe for best foreign language film (1998) and favorite at festivals around the world.
