Easily manage, edit and share your photos

Everything you need to manage your photos

(function () {(‘Application worksheet overview’);});

Picasa is an integral part of photography software and acts as a directory and browser, as an editor, and as a download software in a variety of ways.

With Picasa, you can import all the photos and pictures stored on your computer. Picasa lets you select drives and folders to automatically scan and sync each time you open the software. You no longer have to manually import new photos.

Once your photos are added to Picasa, they will be sorted into albums that appear in folders with the same names they came from. You can then rearrange and move photos from one place to another by simply dragging and dropping. Picasa also lets you add additional tags to your photos so you can easily sort them, including the location where the photos were taken or the people in the photos so you can easily find them.

Picasa is not a software editing expert, but it offers a number of interesting features that allow you to edit each image side by side or in groups, including cropping, correcting, adjusting color and contrast, sharpening and correcting red-eye, and using filters.

Picasa includes additional features that you can use to create posters, montages, screen savers, and even movies from your photos. You can view them all with an external Picasaviewer and share them with others in a variety of ways, including your Picasaweb platform, your Google+ account, your blogger, and your email address.

Finally, Picasa includes some useful discovery features: duplicate and blank albums, geotagged photos, saving and compressing photos.

Available software

Picasa is software that is comprehensive and accessible. It doesn’t offer many advanced settings, but the editing tool is probably the best example of its ease of use. The graphical user interface is intuitive and offers instant access to all versions of the program. Less experienced users benefit from the extensive help built into the software because they can understand its functions and benefits.

An all-in-one that has it all

By processing your photos from import to distribution to others, Picasa also offers the ability to organize your photo albums, retouch photos, and share with loved ones. Picasa is readily available, and amateur photographers will appreciate the offer, especially if they already use other Google services.
